Terms of sale

1. Seller

2. Scope and consumer rights

These terms apply to products ordered through buy-kukirin.com. A “consumer” is a natural person acting mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Mandatory consumer protections in the customer's country of habitual residence continue to apply and take priority over a conflicting term.

3. Product information

We describe each product using the version, specification and manufacturer documentation available for the stock offered. Minor appearance or packaging differences do not permit substitution of a materially different model. If a production revision materially changes the contracted specification, we will obtain the customer's agreement before fulfilment.

Speed, range, climbing performance and charging time are manufacturer maximums or controlled-condition values. Actual results depend on rider and cargo weight, temperature, battery condition, tyre pressure, terrain, wind and riding style.

4. Orders and contract formation

Products placed in the cart are not reserved. The checkout summary allows the customer to review and correct the order before submission. The automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order; the sales contract is accepted when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or otherwise begin fulfilment. We may reject an order for a genuine reason such as an obvious pricing error, unavailable stock, failed payment, suspected fraud or a delivery address outside our service area. Any captured payment for a rejected order is refunded.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

The checkout displays the selected currency and the total payable before the order is placed, including applicable taxes and delivery charges according to the checkout configuration and destination. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. A method can be unavailable for a particular delivery country, order or risk assessment.

Cash on delivery is intended only for Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, subject to the method being shown at checkout. Other listed delivery countries require an available online payment method. A cash-on-delivery order can be subject to reasonable verification before dispatch.

6. Delivery

Our main fulfilment warehouse is in Poland. Delivery availability, charges, tracking, risk and delays are described in the Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Withdrawal, returns and refunds

EU consumers have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for eligible distance purchases. We also offer a conditional 30-day return window. The procedure, conditions and model withdrawal form are set out in the Return & Refund Policy.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

Consumers receive at least the two-year legal guarantee of conformity required by EU law, starting on delivery. If goods are defective or do not conform to the contract, the customer is entitled to the remedies provided by applicable law, generally repair or replacement free of charge and, where those remedies are unavailable or inappropriate, a price reduction or termination and refund. Any separate manufacturer or commercial warranty is additional and cannot reduce this legal guarantee.

9. Product safety and road use

Read the supplied manual, safety warnings and charging instructions before assembly or use. Use only compatible chargers and parts. Do not charge a damaged, wet, swollen or unusually hot battery, and stop using a product that appears unsafe.

Rules for electric scooters vary by country and locality and can include limits on speed, motor output, registration, insurance, lighting, minimum age, helmets and permitted roads. The product page identifies the supplied configuration; the customer must verify the rules at the intended place of use. This responsibility does not limit our duties concerning product safety, conformity and accurate description.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, defective products under mandatory law, or mandatory consumer remedies. Subject to those protections, we are not liable for indirect business losses suffered by a consumer or for damage caused solely by misuse, unauthorised modification or use contrary to clear safety instructions.

11. Personal data

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution

Please first send a request for remedy to support@buy-kukirin.com. If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the customer may use an authorised alternative dispute resolution body. The Slovak Trade Inspection is an ADR body for consumer-goods disputes; current details are available from the European Commission's Consumer Redress directory. The former EU ODR platform was discontinued in July 2025.

13. Governing law and courts

These terms and the contract are governed by Slovak law, without depriving an EU consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence. Consumers may bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable EU and national law.

14. Changes

The terms in force when the order is placed apply to that order. We may update these terms for future orders to reflect changes in law, services or operations.
